The village of Gairloch (21 miles) which has stunning beaches, offers boat trips, horse riding/trekking, 9 hole links golf course and leisure centre. A visit to Inverewe gardens at Poolewe is a must.
The Torridon area is a mecca for hillwalkers. You can walk to the Visitor centre at Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve from the village.
There are Wildlife boat trips and glass bottom boats from Gairloch, where you could see Dolphins, Whales, Seals, Eagles etc.
There is a trekking centre in Gairloch, which is based at the beautiful red point beach.

9 hole course in Lochcarron.
